Who We Are

J.A.R.V.I.S is the FIRST Robotics Competition team of the Wheelhouse Foundation DFW — a student-led STEM organization based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, dedicated to hands-on robotics education through competition, mentorship, and community outreach.

Across VEX IQ, VEX V5, VEX AI, FRC, RECF Achieve, and RECF Engage, our students develop skills in engineering, programming, CAD, and leadership while competing at the highest levels. Six Wheelhouse teams qualified for the 2026 VEX World Championship — a reflection of our commitment to excellence in STEM.

Beyond competition, we work to expand access. Members mentor younger robotics teams and run camps and workshops serving 75+ students a year, building technical skills and confidence in the next generation. Our FRC program is the next chapter — a community team open to any student, regardless of school or background.

What We Stand For

Engineering Excellence

Our students have earned Excellence Awards, Tournament Champion titles, Design Awards, and Robot Skills Championships across VEX and FRC. We design, build, and program to compete with the best — from local events to the World Championship stage.

02 — Connect

Community Impact

We run STEM camps and workshops for 75+ students a year and mentor 10+ VEX and FTC teams. Our members have presented to elected officials on Capitol Hill at the National Advocacy Conference and to students internationally — sharing STEM from the local to the global scale.

03 — Create

Future-Ready Skills

Every member builds real expertise — CAD, programming, fabrication, AI, project management, and communication. As we grow our FRC program, we're pushing further into AI-driven robotics and the engineering challenges that come with it.
