Three Wheelhouse Foundation DFW-sponsored robotics teams qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, TX — the first time all three teams from a single sponsor have qualified in the same season.
Teams from Chicago, IL; Tucson, AZ; and rural Alabama competed in 220+ regional events to earn their spots. All three teams will compete in the Middle School division in Dallas this June.
The foundation provided $45,000 in equipment grants and 120 hours of remote coaching sessions to support the teams throughout the season.
